Joining the Team of Directors @ The Stand NYC

I’m very excited to announce that I’ve been chosen to be the Director of Hospital Relations for The Stand New York City! Over the course of the next year I’ll be working closely with our executive team, fellow directors, and hospital committee to put on what we hope to be the best dance marathon yet!

The Stand is an inclusive community of leaders and advocates driven to make miracles through strategic and focused initiatives in the pursuit of improving children’s health in New York. Our philanthropic efforts are aimed towards Cohen Children’s Medical Center – a Children’s Miracle Network hospital in Queens, NY – and our year culminates with a Dance Marathon that occurs right here in NYC (May 4th, 2019 this coming year).I was first introduced to The Stand by a coworker of mine and participated in my first dance marathon in April of this year. I was incredibly inspired by the effort and impact the organization has had and I wanted to be a part of it. Coming from a role where I was working hand-in-hand with hospitals, I thought that joining as the Director of Hospital Relations would give me the opportunity to help The Stand grow and achieve its strategic goals.

Over the next year I’ll be working closely with Cohen Children’s and our executive team to develop strategic engagement initiatives, enhance family and hospital relations with The Stand, and identify areas of need in the hospital.
